Installit AS and Offshore Power Group AS merge

Installit AS and Offshore Power Group AS (OPG AS) have decided to merge their operations in order to strengthen and cooperate towards an increasingly challenging market that puts pressure on administration and cost efficiency in the whole service chain.
Installit AS takes over 100% of the shares in Offshore Power Group AS, and former owner of OPG AS, Offshore Power Holding AB, becomes part owner of Installit AS. At the same time Installit AS becomes part owner of Offshore Power Group AB in Sweden.
Through this merger and co-owning arrangements both companies will achieve a number of synergies by broadening expertise and experience, which will strengthen and widen the core competence in its businesses.
The operation of OPG AS will continue as normal, and Göran Samuelsson will continue as a contact person. However, the formal general manager responsibility will be transferred from Fredrik Leijonhielm to Ivar-Andreas Monefeldt.
We are looking forward to this merger, and Installit AS and Offshore Power Group AB will as a result be able to deliver even more extensive range of services and complexity in marine operations, HV cable technology and cable installations to the market.
